|
The port

draft of 30 feet in FRESH water. Additionally we offer a
550-meter long pier with a draught of 12 feet for fluvial

Barranquilla's acces
channel conditions
As per local authorities’
communication and last draft studies in Barranquilla´s port access
channel, is of extreme importance to transmit this information to
vessel´s captains. For no reason, any vessel, heading from north,
north east, or east should enter navigational channel with less than
3 nm in distance from the river-mouth (Bocas de Ceniza) cutwater,
they should always approach pilot station by the west. In the
following charts can be seen that the approach to the channel
maintains depths with over 16 meters, so the access of the vessels
to the port of Barranquilla is completely reliable & safe.
Please advise also not to be guided by the nautical charts that
might be not actualized, be guided by the traffic control station
(VHF 16 & 13) whom will be giving the necessary safety
instructions.
